Quabbs Cabin may look like the perfect romantic cabin retreat in the Welsh hills—with its woodfired hot tub, copper bath, and candlelit charm—but the real story is one of grit, graft, and love. Built by hand on a working sheep farm, this off-grid eco stay in Wales rose from mud, mice, and misty evenings spent painting by torchlight. Between farming, teaching, and chasing escaped insulation, we created a soulful, handcrafted retreat full of rustic character.
