If, like me, you’re partial to a paddle (or a full-on wild swim followed by a biscuit and a flask of tea), then you’re in luck. I’ve gathered up my favourite nearby swim spots—all within half an hour of the cabin. Think clear rivers, peaceful banks, and the odd heron for company. I’ve popped in directions from LD7 1PD and added a few words about staying safe, because while I love a bit of adventure, I love a sensible toe-dip first even more.
